Near-death Experience

You know how they say that your whole life flashes before your eyes in a near-death experience?
It doesn't. You don't see everything. Just the things you love.

Ted Mosby - How I Met Your Mother s03 e20

That was a quotation I got from one of my favorite comedy series, How I Met Your Mother. Ted Mosby, the main character, said this words when he got a car accident. He was in a near-death experience right before the car crashed the cab he was in. (Well... in fact he wasn't in a near-death condition. He's totally fine. Just like the tittle of that episode, 'Miracle'.)

That words of Ted remind me of what happened about a month ago. I was in a near-death experience. Ish...
Well, I'm not gonna write the whole story of that experience, simply because I don't wanna talk about it. I feel uncomfortable every time I tell that story. Even some of my best friends don't have any clue at all about what happened. They don't know not because I don't consider them my best friends, but because I don't wanna bring bad memories back. (Sorry, folks). What I want to talk about is what you think or see at that near-death experience. Is it true that your life flashes before your eyes? Perhaps everyone has a different answer. And my answer is..... no. Nothing was flashed before my eyes. In fact, there was nothing popped up in my brain at that time. Nothing. The only thing that came up on my mind was.... Oh! I'm going to die now.
That's all.

The second thing I had on my mind was... God. Yes, I screamed God's name at that time. Miraculously, "the bad thing" stopped. I didn't die. I'm still alive until now.
